SAFE RESOURCES LTD - V9 ROSTER UPGRADE
======================================

IMPORTANT
---------
This ZIP does not contain config/config.php and will not replace your live database password.
Create a database backup in phpMyAdmin before installing any upgrade.

1. UPLOAD AND EXTRACT
---------------------
Upload Safe_Resources_V9_Roster_Remove_Options.zip to:

  /home/citytec/public_html/saferesourcesltd.citytec.co.tz/

Extract it in that exact folder. Allow cPanel to merge/overwrite the included files inside:

  security_management_system/

2. IMPORT THE DATABASE UPDATE
-----------------------------
Open phpMyAdmin and select:

  citytec_safe_resources

Click Import and select:

  security_management_system/database/update_v9_roster_layout.sql

Import it once. It creates one new relationship table and preserves current records.

3. PREPARE THE 14 GROUPS
------------------------
Open:

  https://saferesourcesltd.citytec.co.tz/roster/index.php

If the roster does not already have exactly 14 groups, click:

  Organize into 14 groups

The system preserves existing roster guards and group locations, distributes guards across
Groups 01-14, and creates one empty guard position in every group. Existing manually changed
individual duty cells are cleared because their old positions are replaced.

4. NEW CONTROLS
---------------
- Use + Add guard in a group header to add another guard.
- Use the three-dot menu beside a guard to remove the guard or change duty pattern.
- Removing a guard requires Sick, Msiba/Bereavement, Ruhusa/Leave, Termination, or Other.
- A removed guard leaves an empty position and appears under Removed Guards.
- Use + Add location to choose an existing post or register a new location.
- Use the red x beside a location to detach it from that group.
- Removing a location never deletes the master Post record.
- Pages 1-3 show four groups; Page 4 shows Groups 13-14.
- Print page produces an A4 landscape roster.

If the app displays an error, open:

  /home/citytec/public_html/saferesourcesltd.citytec.co.tz/security_management_system/storage/php-errors.log
