2. Imported staff list:
   database/guards_import.sql
This contains the 102 records from STAFF LIST-1.xlsx.
Fields that were not present in Excel (home address, next of kin/referee details)
are intentionally left blank for later completion.

3. Professional error handling:
   - PHP display_errors is disabled for users.
   - Unexpected errors are logged and shown through a professional red error page.
   - Users receive an error reference number rather than a raw PHP stack trace.
   - Common guard form errors are shown as Bootstrap danger alerts.

4. Database migration:
   database/update_v2.sql
Run this against an EXISTING database before running guards_import.sql.

INSTALLATION FOR YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM
-------------------------------------
A. Backup your current security_management database first.
B. Replace your application files with this package.
C. In phpMyAdmin select security_management.
D. Import database/update_v2.sql once.
E. Import database/guards_import.sql once.
F. Open the application and check Guards.

FOR A NEW INSTALLATION
----------------------
1. Import database/security_management.sql.
2. Import database/guards_import.sql.
3. Open /public/.
4. Default login remains admin / admin123 if setup_admin.php has been run or the
login fallback from the starter package is present.

IMPORTANT DATA NOTE
-------------------
The Excel file contains 102 staff records. One record has no staff ID, so the system
assigns SR/AUTO-001 to that record so it can be stored safely. You can edit that code
later in Guard Registration.

The Excel file did not contain home address or next-of-kin/referee information, so
those fields are blank and should be completed from the personnel records.

The Excel Location column is stored as deployment_location. It is NOT automatically
forced into a post assignment because several names/locations in Excel differ in
spelling/capitalization from post names. This avoids making incorrect deployments.

SECURITY
--------
The Excel file contains sensitive staff information. Keep database backups and the
application on trusted machines only. Do not publish the raw staff import file on a
public website.
